New & Old

Hey guys,

So I thought I would share with you the new products I have been loving, but also the old products I have fallen back in love with. I went through my makeup collection and bought out a few products that I haven't used for ages but still love!

Old Faves-

Nars LoveJoy Bronzer- This bronzer  is quite different from any other bronzers I have, firstly its very shimmery and I normally wear matte and secondly its very dark and mine are normally slightly lighter. But I love this bronzer, its amazing at contouring and looks great. Its a staple product in my makeup bag for the winer.

Rimmel Match Perfection loose powder- I have been using set powder for a while now but recently my skin has been feeling slightly more oily and I felt like I needed something slightly heavier. So I re discovered my love for this translucent loose powder from Rimmel that I used  for years. It sets my foundation so well and really leaves the skin feeling smooth and matte!

New Loves-

L'Oreal nude lipstick- L'Oreal has recently launched a new range of nude lipsticks inspired by celberites such as Eva Longoria (which is the colour I bought), I love it!! I'm a big fan of nude lipstick for the day time and this one lasts on the lips for ages! I would defently recommend any of these shades (I think there is 4) as your autumn go to lipstick.

L'Oreal Skin perfection serum- This product was on my wish list last week, and I was so excited to try it and . . .  I love it. I use it under my moisturiser in the evening and on its own in the morning before I apply my makeup. My skin has felt smoother and i have to say its appearance has improved. I'm really impressed with this product and will continue to use it.

My style diaries starts on Monday evening- so keep an eye out!

My Winter Wish List

As each new season approaches I always find myself craving certain 'must haves', as we move into the autumn I wanted to share with you the items I have on my winter wish list.

The l'Oreal skin perfection serum is something that I have heard such great things about and can't wait to try it, I really like to use serums in the winter underneath my moisturiser as it really keeps the skin hydrated and leaves it feeling amazing. I also really like the packaging in this range, I already have the facial wash which I really like so I'm looking forward to getting this product.

I have been lusting after this Aspinal Marylebone bag for months and months, its so beautiful with its two toned leather and complimenting buckles. I'm still saving, but hopefully one day I will get there!!!! I think a classic bag is the key to any great outfit, I know some people don't like spending to much on bags, but I have always had an eye for quality and unfortunately that comes with a lot of  saving!

I have recently just had my hair cut into a long bob (which I love), having always had relatively long hair this is quite a change for me but I am loving it so far. The ends are so much thicker and its a lot healthier, the only difference is that it needs a bit more styling because otherwise its doesn't sit properly. I have always loved John Frieda's Volume collection and I have been wanting the spray for a quite a while so I'm really excited to try it on my new hair style!  I'm going to purchase it this week along with the serum, so I will review both products in due course.

Im going to do a styling diaries next week, with a fashion post on what I'm wearing each day! So look out for it!

Hot right now

I'm always looking for new and emerging make up companies that make great products and finally I have found one! Kiko is an italian make-up company that I found when I was on holiday in Rome (my hotel just happened to be above the store!). The store was amazing, with so much going on and so many products to look at, after much choice I settled on 3 products:

1. Bronze/Gold eyeshadow stick- This stuff is seriously amazing, its a cream stick that hardens and turns to a powdery consistency when on the eye so it doesn't gather in the crease. The best thing about the product is it lasts all day and even into the evening as the colour is super pigmented.

2. Trio blusher- The colour is amazing and I like the fact that you get 3 colours in one, meaning you can make the colour as light or as pigmented as you want. I also think the packaging is really cool and stylish.

3. Powder eyeshadow- I also bought a dark coffee powder eye shadow, I have used it for shading to create a smokey eye, again the pigmenting is amazing and the colour lasts all day.

You can order online and they have their full range of products available! Check it out, it will be your new favourite brand.

August Favourites

Hey Guys,

Firstly, I must apologise for my absence during August, I had so many things going on and I was on holiday so I took a break for a while, but now I'm back to regular blogging! I thought I would share with you my August Favourites, including beauty, fashion and a little bit of lifestyle!

Red Ankle Boots- I'm in love with these boots! I only bought them in the last week and haven't had a chance to wear them because the weather has been so lovely! But I'm just adding items to my winter wardrobe and I can not wait to wear these. I wear black skinny jeans and dresses a lot, and with my basic clothes I tend to keep to black, grey and white and then accessorise with coloured shoes, necklaces and scarves.  I keep going into my wardrobe just to look a them! they are from Marks and spencer (which I know might surprise many of you, and they where only £45, get them before they go).

SensatioNail- Im really happy that I get to blog about this product, its amazing for people who like to have gel nails. Obviously being quite good with beauty I find nail varnish really easy to apply so this kit was perfect for me, not only does it save so much money I love the flexibility of changing the colour and not feeling guilty about spending the money on a new set. The starter kit was £70 I think but worth every penny! The kit comes with everything you need, including one colour of your choice (however you do have to buy the removal kit separately) then you can just buy the extra colours you want individually. The finish is amazing and they last just over 2 weeks.  I would definitely recommend this product if your good at doing your own nails and your fed up of paying each time you go to get your nails done!

White Bedroom- I'm in love with my new white bedroom (this would also explain my absence haha), the picture above isn't my bedroom but it follows the same theme. All white with a white and charcoal feature wall and an all white bed, I have added accents of  dusky pink to the room as well to give it warmth. It feels light int the summer but cosy in the winter! Im going to do a blog post of my finished rooms soon!

I will be back soon!

Product of the week!

Hey guys,

Firstly I must apologise for my lack of blogging in the last week, I have been decorating my room and it has kinda taken over my life, so I thought I would quickly update you on a product that I picked up in Boots the other day and I literally can't get enough of! I bought the Vaseline spray and go moisturiser in the cocoa butter scent, it was £4.99 and its probably one of the best day time moisturisers I have EVER used, its light weight, quick to apply and smells and feels amazing. The best part is that it leaves your skin feeling moisturised all day and you can apply your clothes straight away, its perfect for this season as it doesn't leave you feeling sticky or with a residue!

I can't recommend this product highly enough, I tend to use a thicker butter in the evening but its a perfect everyday 'go-to' product, I love the spray applicator and its a great to have in my gym bag for my morning shower! Please try this product if your looking for a light weight easy no 'faff' moisturiser!

I will be back to regular blogging this week

Instant Fixes

Hey guys,
So I thought I would share with you how I over come summer heat problems in the world of beauty! there are always 3 main problems I encounter:

1. My hair goes fine and flat and just won't style like it does in the winter, it takes a lot of work to look good! Which I don't have in the morning before work.
2. I get so bored of putting lipstick and lipgloss on as I hate faffing when its summer, so I need an all in one lip product
3. I find nice nail varnishes hard to buy, as I only have little hands and nails I much prefer to wear darker colours or strong colours as they make my nails looks longer and neater.

So here is how I over come this . . . . . . .

Firstly I have been using the John Frieda Luxurious Volume moouse, I was so surprised at how well this product works, it literally volumises my hair instantly.  It's so simple to apply, you squeeze a generous amount and work it through towel dried hair from root to tip.  Then blow dry it as normal (I always use a rounded brush and lift my hair away from the roots as I'm drying).  This product really does work and doesn't leave any residue on your hair or make it feel sticky! Its definitely worth and try and it was relatively cheap at £5.99.

Secondly I'm definitely  a lover of one lip product in the summer, something that adds colour, slight gloss and moisturises! The Bourjois Colour Boost ticks all those boxes, I bought the colour peach on the beach and I absolutely love it! The colour is a lovely light peachy pink colour and has SPF 15 which is a bonus. They do these in a range of colours, I would definitely recommend them, I will probably be purchasing a few other colours too! They are very similar to the Clinique Chubby sticks and I have to say slightly nicer then the Revlon just kiss me stain, it is more glossy and moisturising and smells amazing!

My last instant fix is the Chanel Nail Colour in Holiday (617), I find summer nail colours are really difficult to buy because I find it really difficult to wear all the light summery colours as I don't think they suit smaller nails. But this colour is perfect, its summery but is a very strong burnt orange so has great coverage. I love Chanel nail varnish, its last forever and is so easy to apply, I would definitely recommend any of there nail varnishes if you're unsure!

So if you stuck and need and instant fix try one of these products!
Hope your all having a lovely weekend
