The Wish List
Instead of doing my usual May favourites this month, I decided that I would do a June wish list instead as I haven't really bought any new cosmetics this month. The products/items shown above are things I have been lusting after for ages.
The first product on the left is the Laura Mercier Body Butter in the Fig fragrance, I haven't actually tried this yet but I have heard rave reviews about it and I love any scented body cream! I'm saving up at the moment because its not the cheapest of items but when I do mange to get it, I will let you know in due course how I got on.
The second item is this BEAUTIFUL Michael Kors Selma Bag which has been on my wish list for months. I'm a great believer in having a quality staple handbag that will last the test of time but carry on looking just as new as when you bought it. I always go for black handbags as they go with everything!
Lastly on my list is the Clinique blush in the colour Iced Lotus. I have literally just run out of this blusher and its one of the best blushers I have used! I love the colour, It's quite a bright pink but has an almost 'ice shimmer' to it meaning that is also highlights the cheeks and adds colour at the same time. It stays on all day and gives the cheek a really dewy and glowing look!
What's on your wish list? . . . .

April Favourites
So between writing my dissertation and revising for my final exams, I have managed to get away and write my April favourites for you! Im sorry its so late . . . . . but the past few weeks have been so full on at uni!
So I'm going to start off with my Kiehl's BB cream . . . now I haven't always been a great fan of BB creams, I have always found that they don't seem to sit well with powder (which is a necessity of mine). As you guys probably already know, I don't tend to wear a lot of foundation (if at all). I have to say, this BB cream has really changed my mind on the matter, I have been using the colour 'light' for about 4 weeks now and really love it. The coverage it gives is somewhere between a tinted a moisturiser and a full foundation. I would say it gives a light to medium coverage; if you like a thick coverage then this probably isnt the product for you. It really evens out my skin tone and paired with my cover up (Laura Mercier secret camouflage) it gives a flawless finish. It also contains SPF 50!! which is perfect for holiday and SPF is a must in any foundation. It hydrates and perfects the skin which I really think it has, so you don't need to wear moisturiser under it if you don't want to (I normally do). The only recommendation I would give is that it's like a thick moisturiser consistency and you only have to apply a small amount, its not like foundation where you can build it up, you can only apply it once otherwise it becomes uneven.
Second on my favourites in my Revlon- Just Bitten Kissable balm stain in the colour 020. I really like this product I went into boots to buy a Clinique Chubbystick in an almost identical colour, as I know how amazing their chubby sticks are. As I was walking past I noticed Revlon had just bought out a similar version, so I tried a few of the colours and loved this one! The reason I went for it was because it was half the price of Clinique (7.99 I think) and it smells minty which I love! The colour stays for hours, I tend to mix it with my lip balm for a lighter finish in the day or wear it alone in the evening. I would definitely recommend either product as they are both just as nice, If you want to splash out then go for Clinique but if you want a budget option this is just as good!
Next is my Mac Matte Bronzing Powder- I have been using this for a long time, almost a year now! But I hadn't shared this with you guys yet! I really like the colour of the bronzer and it brilliant for contouring the cheek bones; I like matte bronzers because I normally wear a shimmery blusher and highlighter so I don't want it to be too much.
Lastly on my list is my trench coat for Misguided, I have wanted this coat for AGES! I have seen this exact one of a couple of celebrities (and on Millie's style diaries) and it kept selling out. So as soon as it came back in I ordered it straight away. I absolutely LOVE it, it looks really expensive ( I think its was £47.99), I have had so many compliments on it and it goes with almost every item! I also like that its thinner then my leather jacket so I can wear it into spring (when the sun eventually comes!)
I promise I won't leave it this long to post again! I'm going to post my wish list at the end of the week so you can see what cosmetics and fashion buys I love!
